Katherine B. Ashley, CPA, PA
Katherine has been a Certified Public Accountant for more than 35 years. When asked why she chose this career, she said, “Accounting is not abstract. It’s methodical and practical with procedures to follow. Like solving a puzzle, there is an end solution.”
Divorce is emotionally, physically, mentally, and financially daunting. The paperwork alone can be overwhelming, so we bring clarity to these complex forms and documentation and provide options for marital settlements from both the financial and tax aspects. We work together to design a realistic budget for life after divorce, and offer many other complementary services. We work with you to restore hope and confidence for your future.
In the same manner, we understand taxes can also be overwhelming. Tax laws are constantly changing. Frankly, they’re becoming more complex, not simplified. If you tremble at those three initials – “IRS”, we break it down for you to make the process as painless as possible.
Katherine is a licensed CPA in the states of Tennessee and Florida. She is a proud member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts.
She’s also an avid Georgia Bulldog football fan. Chattanooga is close to the Georgia border, which has now brought her closer to even more Bulldog fans. She enjoys reading, beachcombing, and looks forward to exploring the mountains in her new home state.
Success Story
“Katherine is wonderful to work with for all of our tax preparation needs. She is always extremely responsive and thorough in regards to any questions we have and has a seamless process that minimizes the time and effort required to pull together information year over year. Her vast knowledge and experience has helped us in the past identify opportunities that we likely wouldn’t have identified ourselves that proved to benefit us for our tax returns!”
